Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to work confidently with the danyvin music library—plans, licensing, download logistics, Content ID, and support. Open a section below or reach out if you still need help.
Getting started
Understand the library and how to begin using it.
What is danyvin.com?
danyvin.com is a production music library for video creators, streamers and podcasters. Every track is original and cleared for use, so you can publish it without third-party rights getting in the way.
The catalog focuses on cinematic, ambient, electronic, and production-friendly styles with fast search, curated albums, and consistent metadata so you can drop tracks straight into edit sessions. Learn more about the studio on the About page.
How do I start downloading tracks?
Getting started takes just a few steps:
- Create a free account — you’ll begin on the Free plan, which is enough to audition the whole catalog.
- Browse the Music library or curated albums and preview tracks directly in the browser.
- Download MP3s (main versions) on the Free plan with up to 20 downloads per day for personal or pitching use. Free downloads require a simple artist credit (a copy-paste line is provided with every download). Upgrade to Hobby, Pro, or Studio for unlimited downloads, additional formats, broader usage rights, and no credit requirement.
Every download is available instantly and recorded in your download history so you can re-download any time.
Do I need to credit the artist?
On the Free plan — yes. Free downloads require a simple credit in your video or podcast description. We make it effortless: after every download (and on each track page) you get a ready-made line to copy, for example:
Music: Track Name by danyvin — https://danyvin.com/tracks/track-name
The credit costs nothing, takes a few seconds, and directly supports the artist so the library can stay free to use.
On paid plans and one-time licenses — no. Hobby, Pro, and Studio subscribers, as well as license buyers, can use tracks without any attribution.
Plans & billing
Pick the right subscription and manage your account with confidence.
Which plans do you offer and what’s included?
All plans are month-to-month with no long-term commitment. Highlights:
- Free – €0/month • Main-version MP3 downloads (20 per day) for personal and portfolio use. Artist credit required.
- Hobby – €5/month • Unlimited MP3 downloads of every version, plus five YouTube copyright unclaim requests per month and email support.
- Pro – €9/month • Unlimited MP3 + WAV, commercial usage (including client work, apps, and games), individual version downloads, and 25 YouTube unclaims per month with priority support.
- Studio – €19/month • Everything in Pro, plus downloadable PDF licenses, YouTube channel whitelisting, and unlimited unclaim requests.
You can compare every feature side-by-side on the pricing page.
How do I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel my subscription?
Sign in and open Account → Subscription to pick a new plan. Existing paid subscribers can manage payment details, switch billing cadence, or cancel anytime through the secure Stripe customer portal at Account → Billing. Changes take effect immediately and your downloads remain available until the end of the current billing period.
Do you offer trials or refunds?
There is no time-limited trial because the Free plan lets you explore the catalog without cost. For paid upgrades we follow EU digital content rules: if you haven’t downloaded licensed files yet, you can request a refund within 14 days. We also honour a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on new Pro and Studio subscriptions—just reach out to support and we’ll review your request. After files are downloaded, the sale is generally final under the Terms of Service.
Licensing & usage
Know exactly what you can do with the music you download.
What license do I receive with each download?
Every download comes with a non-exclusive license tied to your account. You can use the track in as many projects as you like, provided the usage matches the plan you held at the time of download.
You may sync the music to video, podcasts, social posts, or apps; edit, loop, and cut it to fit your story; and keep archive copies for backups. You may not resell or redistribute the raw audio, claim authorship, press it to phonograms for commercial release, or share login access.
Can I use the music on YouTube, podcasts, or client work?
Yes—just match the usage to your plan:
- Free & Hobby: personal channels, school projects, and non-commercial social content. Monetisation or client delivery requires a Pro or Studio license.
- Pro: commercial video, podcasts, paid advertising, client work, most apps/games, and background music in your own venue.
- Studio: all Pro rights plus agency workflows, channel whitelisting, PDF certificates, and flexible multi-brand usage.
For broadcast TV, cinema, or any scenario not covered above, email us and we’ll prepare the right paperwork.
Can I play the music in my shop, café or hotel?
Yes, with Pro or Studio, at no extra cost. Play danyvin tracks as background music in your own shop, café, restaurant, hotel, salon, spa or gym, straight from our playlists or from your downloads, for as long as your subscription is active. One subscription covers the venues of one business. Where the law asks venues for a general music licence (ASCAP or BMI in the US, PRS in the UK, GEMA in Germany and so on), that licence still applies; most venues already have one.
May I edit the music or request stems?
You are welcome to cut, loop, time-stretch, or remix licensed tracks inside your project. If you need stems, instrumental-only versions, or a bespoke edit, just get in touch—we can usually provide stems for Pro and Studio subscribers or create custom cues on request.
Subscriptions vs single-track licenses
Choose the access model that matches your workload.
When should I stay on a subscription plan?
Subscriptions give you month-to-month access to the whole catalog, so you can grab new tracks whenever inspiration strikes. It’s the best choice if you publish regularly, edit for clients, or want access to every version, stem, and update without buying tracks one by one.
- Unlimited or high-volume downloads depending on your plan tier.
- Usage rights that scale—from personal (Free/Hobby) to full commercial (Pro/Studio).
- YouTube Content ID support, including unclaim quotas and optional channel whitelisting.
- One monthly cost that covers every project you work on while the plan is active.
When is a single-track license the better option?
Individual licenses are perfect when you just need one track with paperwork that lives forever—no ongoing subscription required. You keep the rights for the approved usages even if you cancel later.
- One-time payment per track with lifetime coverage for specified project types.
- Includes full-quality downloads and PDF certificates (when available).
- Great for clients who bill per deliverable or when legal teams need standalone documentation.
- Assets stay in your download history so you can redownload anytime.
Can I mix both approaches?
Absolutely. Many teams keep a subscription for day-to-day production and then purchase a single-track license when a campaign or legal workflow needs a dedicated certificate. Both options live side by side in your account.
Downloads & files
Formats, limits, and where to find everything you’ve licensed.
Which file formats and versions will I receive?
The catalog delivers broadcast-ready audio:
- Free/Hobby plans: high-quality MP3 (44.1 kHz / 320 kbps) main version downloads.
- Pro/Studio plans: MP3 and WAV (48 kHz / 24-bit) for every version, plus alternate mixes where available.
- Studio plan: optional PDF license certificate packaged alongside ZIP downloads.
Where can I find my previous downloads and license documents?
Head to Account → Downloads to view your full history, re-download files, or grab ZIP archives that include licenses. Studio users will also see license codes that can be used to regenerate PDF certificates at any time.
After a purchase you’ll also receive a confirmation screen at /license-success with handy shortcuts to download everything again.
Are there download limits or usage tracking?
Daily limits depend on your plan:
- Free: up to 20 downloads per day.
- Hobby: unlimited MP3 downloads.
- Pro & Studio: unlimited downloads in all available formats.
We log download events so you can audit usage, spot variants, and keep track of license coverage.
Copyright & YouTube
Stay ahead of Content ID claims and channel management.
Will I see Content ID claims? How do I clear them?
Because the catalog is protected by Content ID, automatic claims can appear on YouTube. If you are licensed, simply submit the video URL via Account → Copyright Unclaim. We’ll release the claim—usually within one business day.
Monthly request allowances mirror your plan: Hobby (5), Pro (25), Studio (unlimited). Free users do not receive unclaim requests, but upgrading retroactively covers existing videos.
How does YouTube channel whitelisting work?
Studio subscribers can share their channel URL or ID and we’ll whitelist it so future uploads pass through Content ID without claims. After subscribing, email [email protected] or mention it in a support ticket and we’ll confirm when the whitelist is active.
Mobile app
Listen and download on the go with the danyvin app.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes! The danyvin app is available for both iOS and Android. You can browse the full catalog, preview tracks, and download music directly to your phone.
What can I do in the app?
The app gives you access to the full danyvin catalog on your phone:
- Browse and search the entire music library.
- Preview tracks with the built-in player.
- Download tracks according to your subscription plan.
- Sign in with Apple or Google for a quick setup.
- Manage your account and subscription on the go.
Your subscription and download history sync automatically between the web and the app.
